1. Introduction

At OmniOps, we believe in transparency and digital sovereignty. This Cookie Policy explains how we use cookies and similar tracking technologies (such as local storage and session tokens) when you visit omniops.sa

Unlike consumer-focused companies, our use of cookies is primarily operational focused on security authentication, load balancing, and platform stability.

2. What Are Cookies?

Cookies are small text files placed on your device (computer or mobile) when you browse a website. They allow our infrastructure to recognize your device, remember your preferences (such as language settings), and ensure that secure sessions remain active.

3. How We Use Cookies (The Categories)

We classify our cookies into four strict categories based on the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC) guidelines and Saudi PDPL requirements.

A. Strictly Necessary Cookies (Essential)

  • Purpose: These are mandatory for the website and platforms to function. They cannot be switched off.

  • What they do:

Protection: Detect and block malicious traffic (CSRF tokens).

Network: Manage traffic distribution across our server clusters (Load Balancing).

  • Consent: Not Required (These are exempt under PDPL as they are strictly necessary for service delivery).

B. Performance & Analytics Cookies

  • Purpose: To understand how visitors interact with our infrastructure so we can improve latency and UX.

  • What they do:

    Count visits and traffic sources.

Identify "dead" links or high-latency pages.

Note: We anonymize IP addresses before processing this data.

  • Consent: Required (Opt-In).

C. Functional Cookies

  • Purpose: To remember choices you make to provide a personalized experience.

  • What they do:

    Remember your language preference (Arabic/English).

Remember your region for data center routing.

    Consent: Required (Opt-In).

D. Targeting/Marketing Cookies

  • OmniOps Stance: We generally DO NOT use invasive 3rd-party advertising cookies. We do not sell your behavioral data to ad networks. If we ever deploy a pixel for a specific B2B campaign (e.g., LinkedIn Insights), we will ask for explicit consent first.
